Weigh-in, and every weight kept
A scale by the door and one number per member. The app keeps the history — and turns a card red when someone has drifted out of the weight class they are entered in.

The app in use, recorded.
The Weigh-in page is the member list with each member’s last weight on their card. Tap a member, type what the scale says, save — that is the whole of it. It works with the same filter as the other lists, so the competitors of one group are a tap away.
Before the competition, not at it
A member entered in −50 kg who weighs 50.8 two weeks before the competition gets a red tag with the weight class and the competition’s name — on the Members page, on the Entries page and on their profile. Nothing is blocked; the coach simply knows in time, while there is still something to do about it.
A year on one line
Every weigh-in is kept, one per day — a second one on the same day corrects the first. The Weights tab of the reports draws a member’s weight over the period you choose, and on every competition day the weight class they fought in, so a cut that went too far, or a class they have grown out of, is plain to see. The chart goes into the PDF export too.
