Privacy notice

What DoJoe stores, why, and for how long.

This text is not final. A real privacy notice and real terms need the operator’s company details and a lawyer to read them over. Until then this outline describes what actually happens — but it is not a contract.

Who processes the data

The operator’s company name, registered address, tax number and contact email address go here.

What we store

  • Account data: username, email address, a hash of your password. Needed to have an account at all.
  • Club data: clubs, groups, member names and visit timestamps. You enter these, and they belong to your club.
  • Payment data: the transaction reference and amount we get back from the payment provider. We neither store nor see a card number — the provider handles that on its own page.
  • Technical logs: server error logs, for debugging.

Why

Account and club data are needed to provide the service (performance of a contract), payment data to meet accounting obligations, logs for the legitimate interest of running the service.

For how long

Club data until the account is deleted. Billing records for the period accounting law requires. Logs briefly.

Processors

A hosting and database provider, and the payment provider. The precise list, with their registered addresses, goes here.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Ask for any of them at the contact address, and you may complain to your data protection authority.
